Schwabe Gun Powder (Trituration) (20 GM)
It contains nitre, sulphur, and charcoal in fixed quantities. Excessive care is taken in its trituration to prevent heat or accidents.
It has been used in blood poisoning of non-specific origins, septic, suppurative conditions, protracted wound infections, herpes simplex, crops of boils, and carbuncles.
It has also been used as an antidote to Ivy and premula poisons.
Some authors have also recommended this in osteo-myelitis.
